Using Integrations with Zugata

 

The Basics:

Integrations Zugata's bread and butter. This is how we learn more about the people you work with by analyzing your recent conversations. We do this by pulling down the conversation data from an app (such as Slack) and track who you've been DM'ing or having maybe 2-3 person group conversation with. With email, we have a similar approach. Using this data we form a queue that we pull from to suggest people within your network to give feedback to.

Our Integrations:

  • Gmail
  • Outlook/ Exchange
  • Slack
  • HipChat (Coming Soon)

Just to reiterate, we don't look at any conversation content outside of who you're talking with. It's also important to note that you only have access to these integrations if the admin on your Zugata account has enabled them.

How to Start the Integration:

If the integration is enabled by your Admin it's very easy to get started

  • Start off by clicking on your nameplate to pull up the dropdown menu then select "Profile"
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the profile page and click on "Set me Up"
  • This will take you to the list of options that your admin has enabled.
  • Choose the integration you'd like to run then let it do its magic in the background. It can take a little while to process depending on the number of conversations.
 

A couple of things to note:

We recommend doing this about once a month in order to keep your queue fresh so that it includes any new people that you may have started working with.
